We’re looking for a skilled Corporate Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Dartmouth, NS. As one of the region’s most respected law firms, we offer a collaborative environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage corporate transactions including incorporations, mergers, acquisitions, and reorganizations
- Draft and revise contracts, agreements, bylaws, resolutions, and filings
- Maintain corporate records and minute books
- Conduct legal research and prepare regulatory filings
- Track deadlines and ensure compliance
- Assist in due diligence investigations
- Communicate with clients and external partners
- Use legal management software (Actionstep, Soluno, iManage, LexisNexis)
- Mentor junior staff and support learning culture
- Assist with billing and client payments
- Stay current with industry best practices
- File and register necessary corporate registrations (PPSA)
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in corporate law
- Diploma or certificate in paralegal studies
- Advanced skills in MS Office and legal software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Experience mentoring junior staff is an asset

- Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Status: Permanent, Full Time
- Probation: Three month period
- Salary: Commensurate with experience
