Practice Areas: Anna Giddy is a lawyer practicing in  civil litigation, criminal law and wills and estates.

Before pursuing a career in law, Anna spent over 20 years in the hospitality industry. She studied plant science at Dalhousie Agricultural College, where she was awarded the Governor General’s Bronze Medal, and later completed studies in oenology at Niagara College, working as a winemaker across Canada and in New Zealand.

Anna earned her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law in 2023. During law school, she worked as a research manager on food and agricultural policy projects and volunteered with the Elizabeth Fry Society. She was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2024 and now practices civil litigation, criminal law, and wills and estates.

Outside of law, Anna enjoys food, baking, and restaurants, as well as reading, running, art, and hiking with her two dogs, Louis and Tanya.
