Born and raised in Halifax County, Anthony graduated from Saint Mary’s before pursuing law at Dalhousie. He has always practiced in the city, most recently under the Trider-Nicholson (Sam Lane Law Inc.) banner.

Focusing primarily on real estate, estate and commercial matters Anthony grew up in an entrepreneurial household so has a particular affinity (or perhaps weakness) for assisting small business owners.

Anthony lives in Hubley with his wife and dogs. When not fiddling with old cars, Anthony plays soccer, badly, or plays golf even worse. Among all the many activities, Anthony helps foster cats and bunnies, though he is a not-so-great fan of cats, a big fan of bunnies, and helps care for anything else his wife brings home.

Anthony also is a member of several Boards. Currently, he is the Chair of the Downtown Dartmouth Business Commission.
