Micaela received her Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies (Hon) from the University of King’s College in 2011. She returned to Dalhousie University where she received her Juris Doctor from the Schulich School of Law in 2018. Micaela articled in Halifax and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2019. More recently, she worked as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, doing legal research for judges across the province. She joined us at Weldon McInnis in May 2021.

Micaela’s practice areas include Civil Litigation, including real property disputes, estate litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, and corporate litigation. She also practises in Wills and Estates.

In her free time, Micaela enjoys walking her rescue dog Holly, supporting the Hfx Wanderers, travelling, and eating great food. She volunteers on the board of the Halifax Dunbrack Soccer Club and Pavilion Youth Association. She is also a captain of her soccer team.
